If you’re like me, you hate to see summer come to an end. I’m never ready to put away my swimsuit or beach chair on Labor Day. Fortunately, the warm weather continues in Southern Maine through September, and we enjoy quite a few beach days before the leaves fall.
In fact, there are many things we love about spending time at our Wells vacation rental in September. In addition to the dissipating crowds, which make it much easier to get a table our favorite restaurants in Wells, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport and Portland, we look forward to several events and festivals that take place along the Maine seacoast. Here are 9 of them.
