We were looking for a casual place to enjoy a hearty meal on a cold November night, and Stutesy’s Pub & Grille fit the bill perfectly. We hadn’t eaten there before, but the restaurant was recommended by one of our neighbors at Seagull Inn and Condominiums. They were right. The food and service were excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. The steak tips had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Our meals were served hot and quickly. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy – nice, yet relaxed and comfortable – like a favorite pair of jeans. 
While these may seem like simple things, very few restaurants get them right these days. It is almost impossible to find a place that has good food, good service AND good atmosphere. Usually we have to sacrifice one or two for the other.
We’ll definitely go back. In fact, I can see us becoming regulars. And, it appears we’re not alone. Stutesy’s seems to attract quite a few locals. I was especially impressed by the staff when two elderly women were led to the table behind ours. Before they could sit down and get situated, the bartender had delivered their “usual” Friday night cocktails. That speaks volumes to me!
Stutesy’s Pub & Grille is located between Wells and Ogunquit on US Route 1 in Moody, Maine. With items to please any appetite, the menu includes chowder, wings, meal size salads, baked, broiled and fried seafood, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and their best seller — steak tips. They also offer a reasonably priced children’s menu.
